摘要
汽车牌照识别系统是交通管理领域和数字图像处理领域里的热点问题。本文介绍了MATLAB在汽车牌照图像处理识别系统中的应用。该系统实现了汽车牌照的字符分割,分割准确率高、速度快。整个处理过程分为预处理、边缘提取、车牌定位、字符分割、字符识别五大模块,通过调用MATLAB函数来实现每一个部分处理过程,最后识别出汽车牌照。
LPR is one of the hottest issues in the area of the traffic management and digital image processing. In this paper, it will introduce a license plate recognition system which is based on MATLAB image processing. This system realizes license character segmentation, which is accuracy and fast. This process was divided into preprocess, edge extraction, vehicle license location, character division and character recognition, which is implemented separated by using MATLAB.
