The etiopathology of cyclic vomiting syndrome（CVS） is still debated. Recent consensus include association between migraine headaches and CVS, mitochondrial enzymopathies, endocrine hormonal dysfunction, gastrointestinal motility disorders, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, food allergy, and genetic association.
