In a supporting electrolyte of HAcNaAc, a sensitive derivative reduction peak of Tiapride was found by singlesweep oscillopolarography. The peak potential is -156 V(vsSCE). The relationship between the peak current and the concentration of Tiapride is linear from 60×10-7￣90×10-6 mol/L. The detection limit is 50×10-7 mol/L. The method was applied for determination of Tiapride in tablet with satisfactory results. The electrode process, reaction mechanism and polarographic behavior have been discussed.
