摘要
作者对拔除全部磨牙的大鼠的嚼肌浅层和二腹肌前腹进行了动态的酶组织化学研究。结果发现,嚼肌产生废用性萎缩,其酵解型纤维比例明显增加;而二腹肌前腹无改变。结果表明失牙后咀嚼功能部份丧失导致咀嚼肌代谢的适应性改变。
Changes in enzyme histochemistry of superior masseters and anterior bellies of digastricmuscles in rats have been found,after extraction of all molars for over a period of half ayear.As the edentulous time lasted,the size of both type I and type Ⅱ fibers of the musclesexamined decreased in size significantly,and the mean percentage distribution of type Ⅱ fibers increa sed obviously.The former indicates disuse atrophy and total activity decreaseof the masseter muscle.The latter suggests that the masticatory activity is prone to berapid,producing higher tension and decreasing resistance to fatigue.No changes are foundin the anterior belly of the digastric muscle.This paper reveals that losing a lot of teethalters muscle function,which results in adaptations in fiber area,percentage compositionand oxidative capacity of masseter muscles.
