对云南大理白族的表述与自我表述的再思考被引量：10

摘要本文讨论的是云南大理白族的人类学表征问题。1941年费子智(C.P.Fitzgerald)的《五华楼》(The Tower of Five Glories)出版以后,白(民家)在人类学著作中有了不同的描述。在英国研究人员费子智的笔下,民家为"部落民";几年之后,许琅光(Francis L.K.Hsu)在1948年出版的《祖荫之下》(Underthe Ancestor'sShadow)一书中将其描绘成"典型的汉人"。1956年,白族被正式识别为一少数民族,并以大理为中心成立了自治州。但到20世纪80年代,研究人员又一次对白族认同问题展开了辩论。一些学者认为在中国的改革开放时代,白族正经历着一场民族文化的复兴,而另外一些学者则认为白族认同与国家的民族优惠政策相关联。本文尝试对研究者们怎样表述白族认同的方式进行了探讨,着重于分析他们使用何种标准作为认同的标记,以及这些标记又是怎样影响到大理人自我表述的途径的。
