丙酸铈热分解机理

Thermal decomposition mechanism for cerium propionate

摘要 研究了丙酸铈的红外光谱,元素含量和热分解反应机理。结果表明,丙酸铈晶体含有5个水分子,其分子式为Ce(CH3CH2COO)3·5H2O。丙酸铈晶体热分解过程分4步完成:首先于40~95℃失去4个水分子;然后于100—115℃再失去1个水分子;继之于120~230%失去1个丙酸根,此时三价铈被氧化成四价;最后于340—390℃失去余下的2个丙酸根。热分解反应的最终产物为二氧化铈。 The infrared spectrum, element contents and reaction mechanism of thermal decomposition for cerium propionate crystal were investigated. The results indicated that cerium propionate crystal contained 5 water molecules, the molecular formula for cerium propionate crystal was Ce ( CH3CH2COO) 3 · 5 H2O. The thermal decomposition process for cerium propionate crystal was 4 steps, 4 water molecules were lost at 40 -95℃, then another water molecule was lost at 100 - 115℃, one of propionates was lost at 120 - 230℃ and the cerium (Ⅲ ) was oxidized to ceric ( Ⅳ ) simultaneity, and the remaining 2 propionates were lost at 340 - 390℃. The final product was ceric dioxide.
