摘要
目的文本取向的翻译研究模式丰富了翻译研究的路径。本文比较这一研究模式早期的代表人物G．Toury与H．Vermeer的研究思路后认为，虽然两位学者在对翻译以及此前的翻译研究模式的认识上有相同之处，但由于两位翻译学者的理论背景和研究目的各异，他们对翻译功能的关注、对于传统翻译理论中核心概念的审视、对译者地位的认识方面又都迥然不同。
Target-oriented Translation Studies have diversified the research models of translation studies. This paper gives a comparative study of the pioneering approaches to the research model, i. e, the model of G. Toury and the model of H. Vermeer. It is believed that though the two scholars find agreements in their understanding of translation and the present models of translation studies, they take different perspectives on the function of translation, the key concepts in traditional translation studies and the position of translators due to their different theoretical background and goals of researches.
