摘要
"通经致用"思想是"内圣外王"在湖湘文化下的另解。程朱理学奠定了湖湘文化的"忧乐情怀"。而对古文今学的批判继承又使得近代以来湖人爱国热情的高涨,因此,"通经致用"为湘人爱国提供了精神支撑,也成为了湖湘文化书写中国近代史的有力武器。
The thought of＂being well versed in Confucian classics and putting them into practice＂, or Tong Jing Zhi Yong gives anther explanation to the idea of＂being a saint in one＇s inner world but a ruler in one＇s outside world＂ if combined with Hunan culture. On the one hand, the theory of uetaphysics developed in song dynasty provides soil for the sentiment of＂conceming oneself with the fate of one＇s country＂ in Hunan culture ; On the other hand, the critical assimilation of the science of history and the science of philosophy promotes the upsurge of Xiang people＇s patriotism in modem history. Therefore, the thought of＂Being well versed in Confucian classics and putting them into practice＂ not only provides mental support for Xiang people＇s patriotism but a forceful weapon to write modem history in china as well.
