摘要
分析了图像DCT高频系数与不同采样方式的多描述图像编码的关系,得出了二者之间存在相关性的结论.在此基础上,提出了根据DCT高频系数来选择局部采样方式的编码方法——混合采样多描述编码.主客观评测表明,相同码率下混合采样具有更好的单描述重建图像质量.
This paper describes the relationship between DCT high frequency coefficients of images and sampling schemes of multiple description coding (MDC). Hybrid sampling coding with multiple--description is proposed which chooses its local sampling scheme according to DCT high frequency coefficient. Subjective and objective evaluation shows that in comparison with other sampling scheme in MDC, this method achieves higher description-image quality at similar compression rates.
