摘要
本文使用最陡下降逼近理论(SDAT)研究了高斯折射率分布弱导光纤的模场分布与模式参数。我们分别使用高斯拉盖尔变分优化函数及抛物线分布的模场函数作为零级试探函数,用SDAT计算1=0,1,2,4时的模式参数,截止频率及模场分布函数,结果表明SDAT方法能显著地提高模式参数的计算精度,对模场分布函数也能提供有效的改进。
We have studied the modal parameter and modal distribution of gaussian diffu-sed optical fiber using the steepest descent approximation theory recently developedby the author.We have adopted the Gaussian-Lagueere variational field function andthe referehce field function from parabolic index as the SDAT trial function respe-ctively and calculated the modal parameter,cut-off frequency and modal fielddistribution.the results manifest that using SDAT can improve the accuracy ofboth modal field and parameter dramatically.
