摘要
现代大学向公众提供的社会服务已获得认同和支持,并成为自身的一项职能。现代大学在履行这项职能时,应妥善处理好人才培养、科学研究和社会服务三项职能的关系;平衡营利性服务与公益性服务的关系;明确大学社会服务的有限性;摆正大学满足社会需要与引导社会发展的关系;协调要社会服务与学术自由的关系;充分考虑不同类型、不同层次的大学提供社会服务的差异。
Through providing service to society development, modern universities obtain wide support from society. During fulfilling the social service function hardly, universities should properly face to these problems such as balancing talent training, science research and social service, operating service and public welfare service, meeting society needs and guiding society development, carrying out social service and keeping academic freedom. In higher education system the universities m different classification and level adopt different way of social service. Only we have adequately realized and correctly handled those issues universities could performed its social service function really academically and moderately.
