摘要
介绍内燃机车多级四代油的研究工作。多级四代油经实验室性能和发动机台架评定、机车柴油机节能试验评定以及现场行车试验考察，证明其使用性能达到美国（ＬＭＯＡ）四代油的技术要求，粘度达到（ＳＡＥ）２０Ｗ－４０多级油的技术标准，节约燃油１％以上，节约机油２０％左右。
This paper introduces the research activities on multigrade generation 4 oil for diesel locomotives.Results of bench tests,engine tests,locomotive diesel engine fuel consumption test and field test showed that the multigrade′s performance was comparable to singlegrade oil generation 4 (LMOA).Its viscosity came up to the specification for SAE multigrade oil 20 W 40.The multigrade oil at least saved 1 % fuel and the lube oil consumption was reduced about 20 %.
