The Coping Styles of Middle School Students and the Relationship between Them and Mental Health.

摘要 目的探讨中学生应对方式特点及其与心理健康的关系。方法采用中学生应对方式问卷和中学生心理健康量表对757名中学生进行调查。结果中学生的应对方式的使用程度依次是解决问题、忍耐、退避、发泄、幻想、求助。根据与心理健康的关系研究,将应对方式分为:积极主动的应对方式(问题解决);中间型应对方式(求助、退避);消极被动的应对方式(发泄、忍耐、幻想)。结论中学生已经形成比较成熟的应对方式,但在应对方式的培养和提高上仍需要指导和帮助。 Objective To explore the relationship between coping styles and mental health of middle school students, Methods Seven hundred and fifty seven middle school students were investigated by using Chinese Students Coping Style Questionnaire and Chinese Middle School Students' Mental Health Questionnaire. Results The order of the coping styles in middle school students was problem solving, patience, avoidance, vent, fantasy and help-seeking. According to the study on the relationship between coping styles and mental health, we divided coping styles into: active coping styles (problem solving); intermediate coping styles (help-seeking, avoidance); passive coping styles (vent, patience and fantasy). Conclusion Middle school students have mature coping styles, but they still need guidance and help on cultivating coping styles.
