摘要
莎剧《罗密欧与朱丽叶》中使用了大量的双关语。这些双关语一方面起到了画龙点睛的作用,给人以艺术的享受;但另一方面又给理解带来一定的困难,难以完美翻译。结合该剧中的一些经典例句及其相关汉语翻译,对这一特殊的语言现象进行探讨。
There are a lot of puns in Romeo and Juliet. On the one hand, they play an outstanding role in it and give readers an artistic treat;on the other hand, they are so difficult to understand that they can hardly be translated perfecdy. The paper combines some classic example sentences as well as their translations into Chinese of the drama and tries to delve into how to translate the special linguistic phenomenon.
