摘要
本文描述了塑料流光管的批量制造工艺及影响性能质量的各种因素的研究结果,讨论了用Ar-CO_2作为自猝灭流光管工作气体的可能性问题。
Batch process technology of PVC streamer tubes is presented in this paper. We investigated various factors which have influence on the characteristics and quality of the tubes. About 4500 tubes for the ALEPH muon detector have been finished and tested preliminarily in Beijing.Now these tubes have been checked and more than forty muon chambers have been ass emb-led with them at CERN.The possibilities of Ar-CO2 with different quenching gases as working gas were discussed.
