基于XScale构架的大块内存存取性能分析与优化策略

Analysis and Optimization Strategy of Big Memory Access Performance Based on the XScale Architecture

摘要 研究Intel Xsclae构架下不同的系统设计和软件实现对大块内存存取性能的影响。实验分析DMA和处理器核心两种方式下大块内存存取的性能特点,提出了一些基于XScale构架的基本优化策略。在此策略基础上对YUV到RGB的转换进行优化,取得了较好的实验结果。 The paper investigates how the system design and its software implemention effect the big memory access performance based on the Intel Xscale architecture. Through expriment and analysis in memory access implemented by DMA and CPU core, some general optimization strategy is presented. A preferable experimental result in the YUV to RGB transversion is achieved based on this strategy.
