摘要
通过一个嵌入式无线视频点播方案的设计与实现,展示了远程教育中移动学习的一个典型应用。通过支持IEEE802.11b无线网络协议和MMS协议,在带CF无线网卡的Intel PXA270硬件平台上,采用支持多种编码格式的Mplayer播放器,并对Konqueror浏览器加入MMS协议支持。通过对整个方案中若干关键技术的设计与实现,建立了原型系统,为以后进一步的推广和应用打下了良好基础。
This paper proposes a design and implementation of an embedded wireless VOD system to illustrate a typical application of mobile learning in distant education. Through supporting IEEE802.11 b wireless network protocol and MMS protocol, in the Intel PXA270 hardware platform with CF wireless adapter, the Mplayer media player is ported to support several kinds of file formats. The web browser Konqueror is enhanced bysupporting MMS. The prototype system has been built to study the key technologies in this solution for the future applications.
