摘要
高性能透红外硫系玻璃材料的开发和应用在很大程度上受到杂质对透过性能影响的制约。本综述系统地阐述了存在于不同硫系玻璃中的杂质之种类、来源、形成过程及其对玻璃透过性能的影响,并介绍了旨在有效地消除杂质,降低玻璃的非本征损耗的原料纯化措施和与此相关的硫系玻璃制备新工艺。
The development and application of chalcogenide glasses as an IR transmitting material with high performance have long been impeded by insufficient degree of purity present in glasses.In the present survey,the problems of high purity chalcogenide glass preparation,especially the effects of such impurities as hydrogen,carbon,oxygen and heterophase inclusions on transparancy of chalcogenide glasses are systematized.The composition,source and evolution of impurities are elaborated with respect to the synthesis of glasses.A newly reported technique for preparing highly pure chalcogenide glasses is presented which incorporates distillation,heat treatment and oxygen getters and allows distillation and subsequent melting to take place in the same vessel,greatly reducing impurity-based attenuation.
