Prediction of Surface Crack During Forward Extrusion

摘要 本文运用上限原理获得了轴对称正挤压时表面裂纹形成的必要条件;研究了轴对称正挤压时表面裂纹的产生与变形程度、摩擦因数、坯料原始相对厚度及工作带相对长度的关系,从而可以估测低塑性材料正挤压时是否产生表面裂纹。本文的分析与计算结果为试验所证实。 In this paper, the necessary condition for surface crack formmation during the axisymmetric forward extrusion have been derived by using the upper-bound approach. Moreover. the relationships between the surface crack formation during extrusion and reduction in area, friction factor. relative original height of billet, or land length of punch are computed. Therefore. whether the surface crack may occur can be predicted before forward extruding the lower plasticity metals. The theorical results agree well with experimental results.
