摘要
采用分层抽样的方法调查重庆市高校外语师资现状,结果如下:重庆市高校外语师资年龄结构比较合理,学历层次有所提高,但性别比例失衡,博士、教授和硕导比例偏低;大部分教师的教学理念先进、教学方法多元化、教学手段现代化、角色定位平等化,但教学科研工作量过重,科研水平不高,待遇一般,评聘机制不完善,工作压力大,满意度低,进修机会不多,健康欠佳。上述问题的解决需要主管部门和相关领导的理解与支持。
Stratified sampling was adopted to investigate the present situation of foreign language teachers from the higher institutes in Chongqing,and the results are as follows：the age structure of foreign language teachers from the higher institutes in Chongqing is rational,and their educational background has been improved,but their sex proportions are unbalanced,and the proportions of doctors,professors and supervisors of MA are somewhat low;most teachers＇ teaching concept is advanced,and they use multiple teaching methods and modern teaching means,with their roles equalized, but their teaching and research load is too heavy,their research competence is not high,and their income is just-so-so;the assessment and employment system needs improving;foreign language teachers suffer from high work stress,low work satisfaction,few further education opportunities and poor health. Understanding and support from relevant supervising departments and leaders are needed to solve the above problems.
