Synthesis of zinc borate by solid state reaction under microwave radiation

摘要 以硫酸锌、硼砂为原料进行了微波辐射固相反应合成2375型硼酸锌(2ZnO·3B2O3·7.5H2O)的研究,探索出一种新的制备硼酸锌的工艺路线。实验考察了影响硼酸锌硼锌比[n(B2O3)/n(ZnO)]的因素,并对合成产品进行了表征。实验表明,微波辐射强度和原料配比对产品硼锌比有较大影响。通过差热分析,测定合成产品的失水温度为170~230℃,与2375型硼酸锌失水温度较接近;X射线衍射谱图的谱线位置和相对强度与7.5水硼酸锌的标准谱图相符;扫描电镜显示晶体为不规则形状,粒径1.5μm左右。 ZB2375 -type zinc borate (2ZnO · 3B2O3· 7.5H2O) was synthesized by solid state reaction under microwave radiation with zinc sulfate and borax as raw materials and a new technological route for production of zinc borate was designed. The factors affecting the ratio of B2O3 to ZnO of zinc borate were studied in the experiments,and the product was characterized. The results of experiments indicated that the radiation intensity and ingredient ratio had great effect on the ratio of B2O3 to ZnO of the product. The crystal waterlosing temperature of the prepared product was 170 ~ 230 ℃ ,which was closed to the temperature of zinc borate ZB2375 by means of differential thermal analysis ; the spectrum fine position and relative intensity of spectrum of X - ray diffraction ( XRD ) were in agreement with the standard spectnun of zinc borate (2ZnO · 3B203 · 7.5H20) ;moreover the crystal was irregular shape by analysis of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the average diameter of particles was about 1.5 μm.
