摘要
本文以"结构观"、"建构观"的理论视角为框架,综述有关语言与认同特别是语言学习者认同的理论与实证研究。结构观将认同视为相对固定、"客观"的外部社会结构范畴,或者是以此为分类基础的主观定位。建构观将认同视为在社会文化历史情境中,个体与外界互动而发展出来的多元、动态的身份定位及其过程。半个世纪以来,认同在语言学习和使用研究视野中的位置,由从属地位上升为关注焦点,且呈现了由结构观到建构观的发展趋势。
This paper reviews theoretical and empirical studies on language and identity, loca- ting them in a structuralist-constructivist framework. Structuralist approaches regard identities as stable, "objective" external social structures, or subjective positioning based on such structural categories. Constructivist approaches regard identities as multiple, dynamic entities developed in the interaction between the individual and the environment. In the past half a century, there has been a gradual change from structuralist to constructivist perspectives in language and identity research.
