摘要
本文用有限元法对磁光调制器的热特性和温度分布进行了计算分析,与实验测量结果比较,二者符合良好。基于理论计算,对旋光准直仪中的磁光调制器进行了改进,使开机后的预热时间缩短了60%,磁光介质的温升降低了30%。
Faraday effect has been used widely in electromagnetic and geometrical measurement.But the temperature drift of Faraday Cell effects the measurement result significantly.Almost all of the measurement instruments with magneto optic modulator (Faraday Cell) must be temperature stabilized.With finite element analysis program this paper gives the temperature distribution of magneto optic modulator.In order to compare the calculated result with experiment several thermocouple are used to detect the real temperature,the difference between them is no more than 0 5℃.According to the calculated result the modulator in optical activity alignment instrument was improved and the warm up time was reduced 60%,the temperature of magneto optical modulator was decreased 30%.
