摘要
电沉积金刚石复合镀层会出现一些缺陷,如镀层表面起伏不平,出现结瘤、沟谷及金刚石颗粒表面的过度包镶等现象。如果增加金刚石颗粒的数量、电流密度或增加镀层厚度都会加剧这些缺陷的产生。以上现象可能来自于金刚石晶体内部金属包裹体的磁性。在电沉积过程中,这些磁性金刚石产生的磁场,对阳离子从阳极到阴极的运动产生作用,同时由于金刚石对空间的占有引起了电流密度的增加,使得金刚石颗粒表面分散的金属导电质点促进了结瘤和过度包镶的形成。
Several defects were found in electrodeposited diamond composites, such as nodules, over-plating and valleys. It is shown that nodules, with domed shape, are always attached to diamond grains, while valleys, with irregular shape, tend to accompany nodules or over-plating. These defects become worse when the number of diamond grains (tending to cause the defects) , current density and deposit thickness increase. All the facts are thought to arise from magnetism of metallic inclusions trapped in diamond. With the assistances of electromagnetic attracting force exerted by magnetized diamond on moving cations and current density increase resulted from diamond occupation, the dispersive and electro-conductive metallic inclusions lead to nodules and over-plating cases appearing.
