摘要
通过查阅文献和实地考察,探讨雷州半岛周边市县以及阳江地区的的妈祖信仰渊源,并重点介绍一些代表性的妈祖宫庙现状,借以了解妈祖文化在粤西地区的传播历史和发展趋势。
By means of literature review and on-the-spot investigations, this paper makes a study of the origin of worship of Mazu in neighboring cities and counties of Leizhou Peninsular and Yangjiang Prefecture and gives a brief account of the present conditions of some representative Mazu temples with a view to having a better understanding of history and developmental tendency of spreading Mazu Culture in the western part of Guangdong.
