摘要
源自东南沿海莆田的妈祖信仰在马来西亚影响深远,从其宫庙的分布可见一斑。其宫庙大多与地域性会馆相结合,配祀神也带有明显的地域性等特点;其中妈祖信仰的社会功能独具特色,对当地构建和谐稳定的社会局面起着重要的作用。
Mazu belief originating from Putian,the southeast coast of China,has a deep influence in Malaysia,which we can see through the distribution of Mazu temples.Mazu temples usually combine with the regional guildhall,and the other gods worshiped in Mazu temples also put on regional feature.The Mazu belief has particular society functions and plays an important part in the creation of a harmonious and stable environment in local society.
