Synthesis of Zinc Borate as Flame Retardant

摘要 采用硼砂法合成硼酸锌,考察了反应温度、物料配比、液固比和反应时间对合成低水合硼酸锌的影响,通过正交试验确定了低水合硼酸锌合成反应的最优工艺条件。在反应体系中添加阴离子表面活性剂,对产品的粒度和分布均有改善,产品晶形分布更加均一。 Zinc borate was synthesized from borax and zinc nitrate. The parameters for synthesis were determined by sing factor experiment. The effects of reaction conditions including reaction temperature, molar ratio of reactants, the mass ratio of liquid to solid, and reaction time on the synthesis of low - hydrated zinc borate were examined by Orthogonal test. The technical conditions were determined by combining the influence of the above reaction conditions on crystal size and distribution of particle size of low - hydrated zinc borate. The result also showed that the particle size and the size distribution of the product were improved with more uniform crystal product formed.
