摘要
对分布于广西龙胜和湖南宜章的龙胜臭蛙Odorrana(Odorrana)lungshengensis作了进一步比较研究,发现两者的形态特征有明显区别,并将湖南宜章的标本命名为新种──宜章臭蛙Odorrana(Odorrana)yizhangensis sp.nov.。
Odorrana（Odorrana）yizhangensis sp.nov.（Figs.1-3）Rana lungshengensis Anonymous（Fei and Ye）,1976：28（Mangshan of Yizhang,Hunan）.Odorrana lungshengensis Fei,Ye and Huang,1990：150（Yichang,Hunan）.Odorrana（Odorrana）lungshengensis Fei,Ye,Huang,Jiang and Xie,2005：130（Yizhang,Hunan）.[KH2]Holotype CIB 75I0900,adult male,SVL 53.7mm.Type locality：Mangshan of Yizhang County（25°N,113°E,Hunan Province,China;collected by YE Chang-Yuan on 23 June 1975,alt.1200m.Allotype CIB 75I0903,adult female,SVL 71.5mm,collected with the holotype.Paratypes：5♂♂（75I0690-75I0691,75I0899,75I0901,75I0911）,4♀♀（CIB 75I0692,75I0902,75I0912,75I0913）,collected from Mangshan of Yizhang County,Hunan Province,China,alt.1000-1200m during 10-25 June 1975.All type specimens are deposited in Chengdu Institute of Biolog,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Chengdu,China.Diagnosis.This new frog is similar to Odorrana（Odorrana）lungshengensis（Liu et Hu,1962）of Odorrana（Odorrana）schmackeri group（Fei et al.,2005：129）.But this new species is distinguished from the latter in having：1）smaller body size,SVL 47.3-54.0mm（mean 51.4,n=6）in males,58.2-71.5mm（mean 67.4,n=5）in female;2）larger tympanum,2 times as much as the width of disk of the third finger or 2/3-3/4 diameter of eye;3）forearm robust,12.8% of body length;4）no whitish spines on upper eyelid,temporal areas,rear of back,and upper surface of limbs;5）dorsum green with large and irregular brown spots;chest,abdomen and underside of limbs brownish with few stripes;6）rear of thigh light with remarkable dark brown pattern.Etymology.The new species in named after the locality where type specimens were collected.
