摘要
介绍了稀土掺杂氮化镓(GaN:RE)的发光机理及其掺杂的方法(热扩散、离子注入和原位掺杂),对各种方法的优势及其存在的问题进行了点评,综述了近年来国内外稀土掺杂GaN的研究进展及其相关电致发光器件在平板显示领域的应用。
A review of dominant mechanisms for excitation and subsequent relaxation and methods of rare-earth-doped GaN (thermal diffusion, ion implantation doping and in situ doping) was presented. The advantage and disadvantage of methods of rare-earth-doped GaN is discussed. The research development of GaN:RE and application of electroluminescent devices are also reviewed.
