摘要
介绍了近10年来EDM所取得的技术进步,指出这些技术进步的取得,在于EDM理论研究的进展。但是EDM机理研究方面至今尚无重大突破,人们有必要引入新的研究方法和手段来深入研究电加工机理,其中计算机仿真技术也许是行之有效的工具。
The paper introduces the progress in EDM in recent years and discusses that these progress are due to the advance of EDM theory. However, the mechanism of EDM has not been made great progress yet. It is necessary to introduce some novel methods and techniques. Among of which computer simulation is one of the efffective tools.
