摘要
为了将戏剧成功搬上舞台,剧作者通常需要运用一些不同于其他文学形式的语言技巧,从而使戏剧的语言烙上了某些普遍特征,如口语化、动作化、简洁、节奏感强、个性化等特征。本文以戏剧创作理论为依托,探讨了戏剧语言的普遍特征,并在功能翻译理论的指导下,简要分析了《茶馆》的两个英译本,旨在探讨戏剧翻译的策略与方法,为戏剧翻译者提供有益的参考或启示。
In order to successfully perform the play, playwrights have to employ language in certain ways, which grant some unique features to the language of dramatic works, such as colloquialism, brevity, readability, gesture of language, characterization of speech, and so forth. In reference to drama theories, it explores common linguistic features of the play and then in the framework of Skopostheorie, it analyzes two English versions of Teahouse, in which the features of drama language are constandy referred to, attempting to provide some inspirations or implications for drama translators.
