摘要
本文展示了语言学家和社会学家们对语言与性别研究的主要成果,目的在于使读者能够在看到英语语言中性别差异的同时,提高跨性别交际的能力,避免发生误解和伤害。
In this thesis,the author summarizes the main fruits of many linguists and socialists towards ＂gender ＆ English language＂, aiming at making the readers notice the gender differences in English language and at the same time helping them to improve their ability for successful communications between two sexes so as to avoid misunderstanding and hurt.
