摘要
当前大学英语阅读教学已因个性缺失而陷入困境。从小学英语课标到大学英语阅读要求,除了在阅读材料难易方面的区分,各级阅读要求、阅读教学管理过程大同小异。在教学过程中往往重教师权威,重语言解析,重简单量化指标,脱离社会生活,凸现快餐阅读、浮躁阅读。要改变这种个性缺损残疾,应当以教师为主导、学生为主体;加强阅读前后的言语交际引导、补充与延伸活动,通过阅读提高学生跨文化语用意识和实践能力;加强阅读量化基础上的专业方向深化阅读;强调阅读与社会地域文化的链接;注重情感体验,文化包容;体会阅读的乐趣,指向自我实现。
Teaching of reading class in universities tins run into a difficult situation for its lack of unique characterlstics.The teaching of reading starts at the primary school level and continues to the university level. However, at all levels there are similar and persistent problerns:1 ) similar teaching routines and similar classroom management skills;2) an emphasis on the teacher as the sole authority;3) repetitive language forms and the use of a quantitative record of literature readings; and 4) isolation of the teaching of reading from social contexts. In response to these issues, this paper intends to show the necessity and possibility of applying certain teaching strategies to embody the uniqueness of reading teaching at university level. The main strategies include: 1 ) a student- centered pragmatic teaching approach;2)active promotion towards awareness and competence in crossculture communication;3)conlmLUticative activities in all the stages of teaching; 4) extensive, selective, and required reading accumulation; 5 ) reading in real social development context ; and; 6) reading for acadenmic, cultural, aesthetic, and moral improvements.
