摘要
自汉以来,《孟子》名句"蹴尔而与之,乞人不屑也"之"蹴"多释为"踩踏"之义,但是这种解释在语法和语义上都存在可商榷之处。根据慧琳《一切经音义》的释义,检索古书及注疏中大量的实际用例,同时又以活的现代河南方言作为佐证,从历时和共时的角度,运用现代语义学理论对"蹴"进行了更为科学、准确的语义分析。
In the rhesis of Mencius（《孟子》）,＂cu＂ is explained ＂tread＂, but this should be discussed again syntactically and semantically. On the basis of paraphrase of HuiLin＇s Yi Qie Jing Yin Yi （一切经音义）, searching a great lot of practical examples from ancient books, taking the living dialect of Henan as circumstantial evidence, we analyze semantic element of ＂cu＂ exactly by modern semantic theory.
