摘要
传统大学理念作为现代大学理念的基础,要在指导大学实践中既保持大学的核心价值和根本,又能使大学跟上社会的发展而保持生机与活力,就必须结合现代大学与现代社会发展的需要选择合理的走向:人文主义的高等教育哲学传统、大学自治、学术自由、重视科学研究等传统大学理念,在很大程度上需要坚持;理性主义的高等教育哲学传统、大学是学者的社团、大学是探索和传播高深学问与普遍学问的场所等传统大学理念,既需要保留和发扬,又需要舍弃不合理的因素,即扬弃;而"教授治校"、"教学与科研相统一"的传统大学理念,却必须加以改造。
If the traditional ideas of university, as the foundation of modern ideas of university, want to keep the key value and root of university in the practice of guiding university and make the university catch up with the development of the society as well as keep its vital force and vigor, they must choose the reasonable trends according to the need of modern university and society＇ s development. The trends are insistence, developing the useful and abandoning the useless, and transformation.
