摘要
目的对松木刨花、枫木刨花、稻草、纸皮4种材料的物理性状及动物适应性进行比较,以寻找更有利于动物生长、发育、繁殖的新型实验动物垫料。方法通过吸水试验、干燥快慢试验、升温试验、降温试验及动物适应性观察,比较了松木刨花、枫木刨花、稻草、纸皮4种垫料材料的不同物理特性。结果枫木刨花保温性能好,有利于动物环境的保持;而且具有来源广、价格低、易保存等优点,可以作为产业化推广发展。
Objective To compare the physical characters and animal adaptability of pine shavings, maple shavings, rice straw, and paper in order to find out the new-type bedding material that is more beneficial to growth, development, and reproduction of laboratory animals. Methods The tests for water absorbability, rising in temperature, dropping in temperature, and animal adaptability of pine shavings, maple shavings, rice straw, and paper were carried out in this series. Results The maple shaving was superior in source, price, and storage. Conclusion The maple shaving should be developed industrially.
