As different casting processes are used to fabricate the working layer and the core of a hainitic composite centrifugal roll, the roll has a good performance/cost ratio. It is one of the metallurgical rolls now widely used in industry. The casting process is important in fabricating a high quality bainitic composite centrifugal roll.
