摘要
译者的主体意识即译者在翻译过程中体现的一种自觉的人格意识、创造意识和审美意识。这种主体意识的存在与否、强与弱,直接影响着整个翻译过程,并影响着翻译的最终结果。为此,以杨译及霍译《红楼梦》中诗词翻译作为研究对象,从译者主体意识发挥的主客观方面表现出发,可看出译者的主体性必然地体现和贯穿于翻译过程中,而译者的翻译目的、文化取向则影响和决定了译者的主体性。
Translator＇s subjective ideology is the personal consciousness, creative consciousness, and aesthetic consciousness manifested in translation process. Whether it exists or not, strong or weak, could exert direct and great influence on translation practice. Take for examples the two different versions of A Dream of Red Mansion, and we can find that translators＇ subjectlvlty is undoubtedly manifested in the whole process of translation, and is determined by translators＇ purpose of translation and culture orientation.
