摘要
本文研究了英语和汉语不同结果补语结构对补语形容词的选择限制差异,然后通过分析结果补语结构的事件构成特点和英汉形容词的不同语义特点对这一差异给出解释。
This paper discusses the differences in the selectional constraints on adjectives between English resuhative constructions and Chinese resuhative compound verbs. An explanation is offered based on the analysis of the event structure of resuhative construction and the differences between English and Chinese adjectives.
