摘要
为体现出法律文书庄重、客观的效果,法律英语常用长句、被动语态、状语从句及定语从句等句法结构.文章通过《中国加入世贸组织议定书》中的实例讨论了法律英语的这些句法结构的特点以及运用的具体情况.
In order to give expression to the serious and objective effect of legal documents, Legal English has such sentence structures as long sentence, passive voice, adverbial clause, attributive clause, etc. This essay discusses these sentence characteristics and their specific usage through the living examples of Protocol on the Accession of the People＇s Republic of China.
