摘要
本文分析了美国高等教育管理特点,即主要表现为高等教育的层次性和多元性;高等教育制度管理的科学化;高等教育管理的人文关怀。文章认为,借鉴美国高等教育管理经验,中国在21世纪高等教育宏观管理的发展目标应坚持科学发展观的指导,全面、协调、可持续发展,实现高等教育结构的层次性、管理手段的多样性和高等教育管理内容的民族化;高等教育微观管理应坚持以人为本,将科学精神与人文精神有机统一。
