^(18)F-脱氧葡萄糖-正电子发射型体层摄影术显像诊断鼻咽癌放疗后残留病灶的价值 被引量:4

The value of ^(18)F-FDG-PET in detecting the residual lesion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy

摘要 目的:探讨18F-脱氧葡萄糖(FDG)-正电子发射型体层摄影术(PET)在鼻咽癌放疗后残留病灶中的诊断价值。方法:分析2003年1月至2005年12月间在本院治疗的36例鼻咽癌患者。所有患者放疗后行PET或MRI/CT检查,依据病理或随访结果对残留病灶进行定性评价。结果:36例患者中,PET显示异常浓聚、诊断为病灶残留的有23例,而MRI/CT为18例,PET诊断病灶残留的灵敏度和假阳性率分别为91.5%和8.7%,而MRI/CT分别为77.3%和22.2%。结论:18F-FDG-PET对鼻咽癌放疗后残留病灶的判断较MRI/CT准确。 Objective To explore the diagnostic value of ^18F-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glueose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET) in detecting the residual lesion in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) after radiotherapy. Methods The data on 36 patients with NPC who were treated in our hospital from January 2003 through December 2005 were analyzed. The patients all received PET or MRI/CT scans after radiotherapy. The images of PET and MRI/CT for the residual lesions were assessed according to the pathological examination or the findings of follow-up. Results 23 out of 36 cases were diagnosed as residual lesion by PET whose imaging showed abnormal condensation; and the same diagnosis was made by MRI/CT scans only in 18 patients. The sensitivity and the false positive rate of PET for the residual lesion were 91.5% and 8,7%, while those of MRI/CT were 77.3% and 22,2%, respectively. Conclusion The diagnostic accuracy of ^18F-FDG PET in detecting the residual lesion in NPC following radiotherapy is superior to that of MRI/CT.
