摘要
From June 18 to July 1, 2006, Prof. Sun Jiaguang, Vice President led an NSFC delegation of science policy for a visit to Spain and Greece at the invitation of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research （CSIC） and the Ministry of Development of Greece. The delegation visited in Spain the Ministry of Research and Education, CSIC, the Foundation of Science and Technology （FECYT）, the Industrial Development Technology （CDTI）, and in Greece, the Policy Planning Directorate and Research Directorate of the Ministry of Development, the National Hellenic Research Foundation （NHRF）, the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos （NCSR）, as well as some universities and research institutes of both countries. During the visits, Prof. Sun and his colleagues met with the government officials in charge of science and technology, the directors of the above funding bodies and leading scientists from the research institutions.
