摘要
应用光学显微镜、电子探针、X射线衍射仪等设备,对45#钢单一固体渗硼和稀土—硼共渗渗层进行层厚、成分和组织结构等分析。实验表明:在相同温度下,稀土能明显增加45#钢渗硼层厚度,在800~980℃温度范围内,催渗效果达25%左右,稀土能渗入到Fe2B中并促进单相Fe2B的生成,使渗硼层的组织得到改善。作者对稀土催渗机理进行了探讨,提出稀土催渗作用,以改善扩散条件降低硼原子扩散自由能为主,以活化表面为辅。
The depth,composition and structures of solid boriding layer and RE boriding layer of 45 # steel have been analyzed respectively with the help of optical micrography,electron microprobe,X ray diffraction spectrometer and others.The experiment results show that RE(rare earth elements) can obviously increase the boriding layer depth of 45# steel at the same temperature as single boriding,and that in the temperature region of 800℃~980℃,the increasing effect can reach 25% or so.It has been also found that RE can permeate into Fe 2B layer,promote the growth of single phase Fe 2B and improve the microstructure of boriding layer.The authors have inquired into the catalytic mechanism of RE in boriding and raise that the catalytic action of RE on boriding is mainly dependent on improving diffusion conditions to decrease diffusion free energy,while the surface activation effect of RE is assistant.The structure of RE boriding layer has also been emphatically studied.
