摘要
多模光纤存在严重的模式色散,其带宽距离积受限。为此,分析了多模光纤的带通特性。从多模光纤传递函数出发,推导了多模光纤频率响应函数以及频率响应和幅度响应的相关函数,并进行了仿真分析。结果表明,多模光纤频率响应的高频部分相对平坦,由一系列带通区域组成,每个带通区域的带宽与导模的时延有关。仿真实验表,明通过载波复用技术,可以利用这些带通区域进行吉比特容量信息的传输。
Becouse multimode fiber has high modal dispersion which limits to its bandwidth-distance product, the band-pass characteristics of the multimode fiber was analyzed. From the impulse response of multimode fiber, the frequency response function, correlation function of frequency response and amplitude response at high frequency are obtained. The simulation results indicate that the frequency response of multimode fiber at high frequency is relatively flat. In the high frequency region there are many band-pass regions whose bandwidths depend on the delay of guide mode of multimode fiber. By simulating, it is known that these high frequency band-pass regions can be used to transmitted Gbit rates signal very well by sub-carrier multiplexing.
