Dynamic electrical characteristics of organic light-emitting diodes

摘要 利用交流阻抗谱技术,研究了有机发光二极管ITO/Alq3(90nm)/Al的载流子传导机理.根据器件对不同频率的响应曲线及其等效电路模型,该器件可看作是由并联的电阻Rp和电容Cp再与电阻Rs串联而成,并根据实验数据求出了Rp,Cp和Rs的数值.实验结果表明器件的载流子传输机理属于指数分布式的陷阱电荷限制电流,其介电弛豫时间随偏压的增加而逐渐减小. The charge carriers conduction mechanism of single-layer device ITO/Alq3 (90 nm)/Al has been studied by impedance spectroscopy. According to the frequency-dependent response and its equivalent circuit model,the device can be interpreted in terms of the equivalent circuit model of a contact resistance Rs in series with a parallel combination of a capacitance Cp and a resistance Rp, and the values of Rp, Cp and Rs can be found from experimental data. Our experimental results confirmed that the charge carders conduction mechanism of ITO/Alq3 (90 nm)/Al is trap-charge limited current with exponential distribution, and the dielectric relaxation time of the material decreases dramatically with increasing applied bias voltages.
