摘要
提出了一种用新叠氮试剂3-(苯偶氮苯)-1-三氯烯苯甲酸钠(PTBAS)与阳离子表面活性剂溴化十六烷基三甲铵(CTMAB)形成离子缔合物而测定CTMAB含量的新方法。PTBAS在硼砂-氢氧化钠缓冲液中,与CTMAB形成玫瑰红的离子缔合物,其最大吸收峰λmax=545um,而显色剂在该条件下为黄色,其λmax=400nm,它们的Δλ=145nm,有明显的对比度。用该方法测定CTMAB的灵敏度为2.3μmol/L,线性范围为5.5~55μmol/L。其他表面活性剂除溴化十六烷基吡院外,与PTBAS反应均无明显的颜色变化。阴离子表面活性剂对体系测定干扰很大,非离子表面活性剂在10倍时不干扰测定;阳离子表面活性剂如氯化苄基三甲铵等在大量存在时都不干扰。该法具有很好的灵敏度和选择性,是一种很有应用前景的测定CTMAB的新方法。
A spectrophotometric method has been proposed to determine cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTMAB) with a new reagent sodium 3-phenylazo-phenyl-1-triazene benzoate(PTBAS). In Na2B4O7-NaOH solution(pH10.7), CTMAB reacts with PTBAS to form a rose-red ion pair complex with the maximum absorption at 545um. A detection limit of 2. 3μmol/L and a linear calibration curve from 5. 5 to 55 μmol/L CTMAB were obtained. Other surfactants except dodecylpyridine bromide do not react with PTBAS. Anion surfactants interfere seriously but 10 times nonionic surfactants can be tolerated. The proposed method is selective and simple in comparison with previous methods and can be applied for the determination of CTMAB in waste water.
