An Analysis of Real Time Capabilities for Embedded UC/OS-II Operation System

摘要 嵌入式实时操作系统UC/OS-II在高速、高精度测量时不能确保强实时性,为此本文提出一种确保实时性的改进方法:在不改变操作系统的情况下,通过增加DMA控制环节,把一组中断合成为一个中断,从而降低了内核对中断的调度频率。此方法可使UC/OS-II操作系统支持微秒级精度的任务级请求,大幅度提高系统外部事件响应的准确性。文中还给出了基于ARM7的具体实例。 An improving approach has been proposed to ensure the real time response of embedded operation system UC/OS-Ⅱ in high-speed high-precision measuring systems. This novel approach is implemented with a DMA unit, which combines a group of interrupts to a single interrupt. Without changing the operation system, the interrupt reassignment frequency of the kernel has been reduced greatly and real time capabilities improved. As an example, the proposed approach is implemented in a multi-channel data acquisition system (DAQ) with an ARM7 processor. It is shown that this method enables UC/OS-Ⅱ to support task level request with a precision of microseconds, and improves greatly the accurateness of responding system external events.
