摘要
对一级学科的统计学内涵作出概括，并对现行构造统计学科体系所存在的问题提出质疑，建议以完整性原则和重点性原则确定一级学科的总方向，而以“提供理论和方法”和“解决具体实际问题”建立二级学科内容。
The connotation of statistics as the first class subject was summarized. Some existing problems in the present structural statistics system were queried.The author suggested that to establish the general direction of statistics as the first class subject should base on the principles of integrity and emphasis,while to establish the content of the second class subject should base on the principles of 'providing theory and method' and ' solving concrete and pratieal problems '. In this way theoritical statistics and applied statistics will be defined as the second class subject of statistics.
