The end of the Cold War has made it genuinely possible that the trend of economic globalization makes all the countries more interdependent in many ways and thus fundamentally changes the international relations. This paper is an attempt to discuss the present development of Sino-Indian relations in the backdrop of globalization arguing that the two ascending Asian giants are going to remove the obstacles between them in order to cultivate a healthier bilateral relationship and guarantee a cost-effective cooperation. The fact that China and India have become more sophisticated and pragmatic in dealing with each other seems to offer a promising prospect of this development.
